Step-by-Step Process for Your Dream Camper Van Build
- Initial Consultation:
We begin with a personalized consultation to discuss your preferred layout and specific requirements for your custom van build. This conversation will help us fully understand your vision and design needs, ensuring that the final product aligns with your lifestyle. Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway camper or a full-time mobile home, we will collaborate closely to bring your dream van to life. Additionally, this step sets the foundation for a smooth and successful build process.
- Purchase a Van:
Once you’ve outlined your design preferences, it’s time to find a suitable cargo van to begin the conversion. You can explore online marketplaces or visit local dealerships for options. Keep in mind that the size and type of van you select will impact both the cost and labor required for the conversion. Therefore, it’s important to choose a van that meets both your space requirements and your budget. If you’re unsure about which van best suits your needs, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re happy to assist with expert advice
.
- Cost Estimation and Timeline:
After finalizing the design, we will provide you with a detailed cost estimate that includes both labor and materials. This estimate will outline all the necessary components for the build, and we will also provide you with a projected timeline for completion. As a result, you’ll have a clear idea of when to expect your custom van to be ready. Labor costs may vary based on the complexity of the build, while material costs are billed separately, ensuring full transparency.
- Payment Structure:
To get started, we require 50% of the total cost when you drop off your van. The remaining 50% is due upon completion, when you pick up your van. Alternatively, if you’d like to secure your spot in our schedule, a 25% deposit of the agreed total will reserve your place. Since our schedule fills up quickly, it’s highly recommended to secure your spot early. Typically, each van build takes about 1-2 months, depending on the scope of the work.
- Payment Methods:
We accept several payment methods for your convenience:
- Cash
- Credit/Debit Card
- Zelle
- Cashier’s Checks
To ensure clarity and protection for both parties, we will sign a contract outlining all the project details, payment schedule, and expected completion date. This helps ensure that both sides are on the same page throughout the process.
