Step-by-Step Process for Your Dream Camper Van Build

1. Initial Consultation:

The process begins with a personalized consultation where we’ll discuss your preferred layout and specific requirements for your custom van build. This conversation helps us fully understand your vision so we can tailor the design to your needs and lifestyle. Whether you want a weekend getaway camper or a full-time mobile home, we’ll work together to bring your dream van to life.

2. Purchase a Van:

Next, you’ll need to find a cargo van to start your build. You can look for vans through online marketplaces or visit local dealerships. Keep in mind that the size and type of van you choose will affect the cost and labor for the conversion. Larger vans or those with more complex designs may have different pricing. Choose a van that fits both your budget and requirements for space and comfort. If you need assistance in selecting the right van, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to guide you in the right direction!

3. Cost Estimation and Timeline:

Once we’ve finalized your design, we’ll provide a detailed cost estimate for both labor and materials. This includes all the materials needed for your van conversion, as well as the time and work involved to complete the project. We’ll also give you a projected completion date so you’ll know exactly when to expect your custom van to be ready. Labor costs vary based on the complexity and size of the build, and materials are billed separately to ensure transparency.

4. Payment Structure:

The total cost of your custom van build is divided into two equal payments:

  • 50% is due when you drop off the van to start the build.
  • The remaining 50% is due upon completion, when you pick up the van.

Alternatively, you can secure your spot in our schedule by placing a 25% deposit of the agreed total. Our schedule fills up quickly, so securing your spot early is highly recommended. Each van build typically takes 1-2 months to complete, depending on the scope of work.

5. Payment Methods:

We accept payments in a variety of methods for your convenience:

  • Cash
  • Credit/Debit Card
  • Zelle
  • Cashier’s Checks

To ensure clarity and protection for both parties, we will sign a contract outlining all the terms of the agreement, including the project details, payment schedule, and expected completion date.

Here are the steps to take to move forward with your woodworking project
  • First, we would discuss your project and idea. We would discuss the type of wood, paint etc.
  • Next, I would provide you with a rough draft sketch to make sure we are on the same page.
  • We would then discuss cost and an estimated date for completion.
  • A down payment of 50% of total cost would then be made. Total payment would be made upon project completion.
  • Payments can be made in cash, card, wire transfer or cashier’s checks. Contract will be signed so both parties are protected.

Garden beds.

Here are some choices that would can benefit your garden
  • I carry three sizes for each garden bed. Depending on your needs you would be able to choose raised with a bottom or low to the ground and bottomless.
  • Raised would be purchased if you live in an area with small planting space, an apartment for example.
  • You can choose to purchase with dirt or without.
  • If making a custom size, we would first decide on what you would like. I would then provide you with a rough draft to make sure we have the same end product in mind.
  • You would then place a down payment of 50% from the agreed upon total prior to start date.
  • The end payment would be made when your product is completed.
