I know firsthand what it feels like to travel in a Conversion Van. For 8 months my wife and I lived and traveled in our self-built van named El Mechon. 

My wife and I lived and traveled in our van throughout the United States and Mexico. This experience has been one of the most rewarding we’ve ever had in our lives. We started out in California and made our way to Baja. Making stops throughout the month in the pretty beaches of Mexico. We then returned to California and made our way towards Florida.

 Throughout the months that passed we made stops at national parks and iconic cities along the way. Once we arrived in Florida, we sold El Mechon to a happy camper. Now, I enjoy working with wood and building people’s home on wheels for their weekend trips or long-term travels. By living and traveling in a converted van, I know exactly what it takes to make a Van feel like a home.
